The Winterset Suites

An older two building two story small motel. All rooms open to outside. A few short, easy walk blocks to beach and the resturants etc. Along and in the beach area. We were there, for the 4th time in a couple of years for a hotel takeover. It lends itself to group takeovers. Two small pools and a hot tub. Can set it up so one entrance for complex. Lots of towels. Extra towels in room also. I do not know if they also rent rooms when no group doing a take over. Different room types including true one bedroom with large living room dining/ kitchen area. For an old hotel they have fixed up the rooms and bathrooms very nicely. I did not rate the service staff mainly came in to deal with the days trash however they are responsive with issues. No gym. Not much covered area so the pop up cabanas used and umbrellas.

North Beach Hotel is centrally located in lovely Fort Lauderdale. I received a wonderful, simplified and expedited experience in the making of my reservation from the North Beach manager, Phillipa. Upon my check-in, North Beach desk clerk Daniel has persistently demonstrated hard work and courteous, knowledgeable attention to detail…..always helping with a smile.

Excellent place to stay. The staff was attentive and polite, close to shops and the beach. I really appreciated the late check-out with my later flight. The pool, hottub and grounds were beautiful, absolutely staying here again. Room was immaculate with plenty of towels and privacy. Thank you!

Hotel was way nicer than I fought for the price. Private pool and hot tub with affordable parking and close enough to walk to the beach. Staff was also super nice and wanted to help—Katrina especially!

I liked the sweets. I thought they were beautiful. The only problem is is it’s it’s empty. It doesn’t even have a chair in the room. It had a bed of a refrigerator and a microwave. The plugs are dangerous in the room I was at they had wrong covers on them. The electrical outlets needs to be addressed. The shower was odd and nothing was really handicapped accessible in the parking was was difficult, but I really liked when you walked in. It was like a courtyard and very private with to me lush greens, and the pool and the hot tub were over in a corner and very secludedwith a little help. It’s going to be beautiful if they can get enough money I really liked it, but it doesn’t need work.

Rooms felt fresh like “clean fresh”. Very spacious. Only downside would be the bath towels being smaller than usual

The service was great couldn’t ask for a nicer group of people. Location is walking distance to everything you need. The rooms are dated and could use some TLC. But how long are you really in the room anyways. I will definitely be coming back.

It's an older place but the gardens and pools were beautiful. We looked at other hotels in the area and we didn't want to spend $200+ a night when we were going to spend mode of our trip out sightseeing. This fit our needs of a bed, TV and bathroom. Would go back.
